On 6 March 2014, the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules of the Ljubljana Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules) were presented at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor.
The participants were addressed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor, Professor Saša Prelič, PhD, and the Chairman of the Ljubljana Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, Lawyer Konrad Plauštajner, PhD.
The speakers then took the participants “behind the scenes” of the preparation of the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules, presented the key changes for the users, the new regime as regards interim measures in arbitration and the costs of arbitration.
Later that day, the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules were also presented to the members of the Maribor Law Society..
