On 6 February 2014, the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules of the Ljubljana Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules) were presented at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana.
On 6 February 2014, the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules of the Ljubljana Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules) were presented at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana.
Attended by more than 80 participants, the presentation focused particularly on the following topics: key changes under the new Ljubljana Arbitration Rules, the role of arbitrators in arbitral proceedings, special arbitral proceedings under the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules (expedited arbitral proceedings and emergency arbitrator proceedings) and changes to the costs of the arbitration under the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules.
The participants agreed that the Ljubljana Arbitration Rules follow the latest trends in institutional arbitration and represent a modern procedural framework for the efficient management of arbitral proceedings.
