Debugging the Arbitration Legal Framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Arbitration is becoming more important in everyday business and legal practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, the current system is complicated and outdated, which poses significant obstacles in the arbitration practice. This article presents the arbitration framework and practice in BiH, with the hope that it will ease some of the burden that both the local and foreign investors face. To overcome some of these obstacles, the author also proposes a way for interested parties to structure their proceedings to avoid potential risks.
