Find a mediator

In accordance with the Ljubljana Mediation Rules the parties may freely choose the person they wish to appoint as mediator. The appointment of an impartial and independent mediator who assists the parties in solving their dispute is an important step in proceedings, one which requires serious consideration concerning the mediator's knowledge and qualifications.

The LAC Secretariat has a broad international network of mediators with experience in various legal fields, as well as knowledge in various legal, technical and other special areas. We can assist the parties in identifying suitable candidates, in particular by drafting a list of persons from which the parties may by common agreement nominate one or more mediators.
